Located in Normandy, in the Calvados at the gateway to the Pays d’Auge, the Domaine Oursin is located in front of the Saint Martin abbey, a listed historical monument since 1921.

 

The Domaine Oursin, former infirmary of the abbey, offers for rent an independent house in an exceptional setting, where you will enjoy the sunrise on the marsh and the sunset on the abbey.

 

 

You will dive into the heart of nature in Normandy, on the edge of the marshes and not far from the beaches.

Founded in the 11th century by Roger II of Montgomery, adviser of Guillaume le Conquérant, the abbey dedicated to Saint Martin enjoyed a great notoriety in the Middle Ages. Today, the imposing building that served as the kitchen, the abbot’s quarters and the library remains. Although access to the interior is blocked, you can walk around and see the private side of this magnificent building.
